Cubs Academy

The Panthers Cubs academy was formed in 2018 by the founders of the Panthers Basketball Club. The academy is about building basketball foundations and fundamentals in a fun environment for kids aged between four and eight years of age.

The Academy pathways program is all about instilling the panther values into young children in our community with the hope that one day they will join one of our teams. 

Our sessions are run by some of the best coaches in the association and are designed so the participants get maximum enjoyment while learning how to play the game of basketball. Over the last two years we have seen over seventy cubs go on to join a team and become a panther.

Cost:

$80 per school term, plus $5 Basketball Victoria participant fee.

Players who register for the full term will receive: 

• Weekly sessions
• A Cubs Academy t-shirt
• A personalized name tag

Further, Cubs participants will receive a 20% discount on registration fees when they join a Panthers team.  

Sessions

• Monday 4.45 - 5.30pm at Prace Community Center, Reservoir. Enter via the main office. 
• Tuesdays 4.30 - 5.30pm at Pascoe Vale Primary School - enter via Cumberland Road.
